Primal Valley — Terms of Service
1. The agreement
Primal Valley (the "game") is provided by The Mikealicious Company (Pty) Ltd, Pretoria, South Africa ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing the game you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not play.
2. Who may play
You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms on your behalf and supervises any purchases.
3. Your licence to play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game for your own entertainment on devices you own or control. Your use is also subject to the terms of Google Play or the Apple App Store, whichever you downloaded the game from.
4. Virtual items and currencies
- In-game items and currencies (such as Dinosaur Bones, Ancient Runes, boosts, cavemen and other content) are licensed to you, not sold. They are not your property, have no real-world value, and cannot be transferred, traded or exchanged for money.
- Some rewards are chance-based (for example the Mythic Cave). The possible outcomes of a board are shown to you before you commit to a spin.
- We may adjust game balance, prices, items or content as the game evolves. We will use reasonable judgement to keep such changes fair.
5. Purchases and refunds
All purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their payment terms. Refunds are governed by the applicable store's refund policy and by your statutory rights. Non-consumable purchases can be re-granted on a new device using "Restore Purchases" in the game's settings.
6. Advertising
The game offers optional rewarded ads — you choose whether to watch them in exchange for in-game bonuses. An optional one-time purchase can skip the ad videos while keeping the same rewards. No ads are ever forced on you.
7. Game progress and saves
Your progress is stored locally on your device. On Android, you can optionally sign in with Google Play Games to sync your progress across devices; that cloud save is stored by Google against your Play Games account (see our Privacy Policy). Cloud sync depends on Google's services and your sign-in state, and is provided "as is". If you play without signing in and you delete the game, reset your device or lose it, your progress may be permanently lost, and we cannot restore it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost progress.
8. Fair play
You agree not to:
- use cheats, exploits, automation or unauthorised third-party tools;
- tamper with, decompile or reverse engineer the game, except where the law expressly permits it;
- interfere with the game's services or other players' enjoyment of them.
We may suspend or terminate your licence if you breach these terms.
9. Ownership
The game and everything in it (art, code, names, design, audio) belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a free, perpetual licence to use them without obligation to you.
10. Updates and availability
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue the game or any feature at any time. Updates may be required to keep playing. We do not guarantee the game will always be available or error-free.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claims relating to the game is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law, including the South African Consumer Protection Act and equivalent laws where you live.
12. Ending the agreement
You may stop playing and delete the game at any time. We may terminate or suspend your licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (4, 9, 11, 13) survive termination.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts — except that if you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protection of mandatory rules and courts of your country of residence.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the game evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date; material changes will also be flagged in the game or on the store listing. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
